Egopolis.

Synopsis: On an ordinary day in a contemporary city, the urban landscape becomes the mirror of a human mind in transit within the flow of the system; by observing and perceiving Egopolis with sensitivity, it becomes aware of the artifice driving its mechanisms and sets itself in motion toward its own redemption.
Dwelling in the Urban Mind is not a story of escape from the system, but a process of reconciliation—a passage from survival to presence, from comfort to responsibility, from constructed identity to lived truth. The film explores the subtle boundary between the external city and the inner landscape, inviting the viewer to question which direction to take… and which tram will be the next one to catch.

Documentery short film “THE LAST DANCE”, whriten, and directored and filmed by Joel Blue. Staring Maria Emanuele and Francesco Pellicanó. Music.

Synopsis: Having met at the age of sixteen, Francesco and Maria—two ancient souls—have allowed time’s quiet hegemony to shape the space of their lives, watching the years fold gently into their skin. Married since 1957, they now face the final breaths of their existence in a state of confusion, as their need for one another collides with the fragments of themselves each has left inside the other—fragments that will inevitably be lost. During Maria’s illness, Francesco finds himself at odds with his own reflection. With guidance, he comes to understand that the only way to continue loving her is to begin loving himself. In a moment of profound awakening, their weary bodies ask for one final dance of love. Soon after, the unknown reaches out to claim them.

Ciccio and Maria have been married for sixty-five years. In the suffocating heat of summer, they drift without words into the living room. Dawn leaks through the curtains, washing their faces in pale light. For a moment, there is only the ritual of a single cigarette.

Ciccio’s hand trembles as he smokes. With each breath, the taste is bitter—a passion spent on love, on duty, on all the things that needed to be done. Maria watches him from across the room, distant and lucid, aware that this cigarette will stretch endlessly, refusing to burn out. They recognize each other in the silence. But the moment arrives too late. Time has already passed through them, leaving nothing untouched.

Project title: “RISE UP AGAIN”

This is a story about Riccardo the lord of fashion. The tailor par excellence. He represents an era in Gianni Versace’s hometown of Reggio Calabria, Italy, as a man with a humble attitude and innate class. Within him is the art of creation that has nourished his life for nearly eighty years. The artisan fashion shop continues to live with him. Richard in the 1970s created innovative men’s suits with beautiful, one-of-a-kind motifs. His atelier was frequented by many creatives including the young Versace himself. Riccardo Lavino, whose name in art is Richard, is a man who made himself out of nothing. Made in Italy.

Synopsy: I have always believed since I was a child that the ground we tread on, could give us answers to our doubts, but only if, before opening our eyes, we open our hearts and live what is around us. Abstraction is the only cure for superficiality, without it, you will observe everything in a passive way and losing what you really like. Let your judgments unmask stupidity, feel your inner rhythm and create your music, the frenzy does not belong to you, do not be distracted. Or at least, if you really want to run, firstly I suggest you to learn walking.
