I had the extraordinary fortune of tracking down Europe’s most imposing animal: the European bison.
Together with the team from @gabriretez and with the invaluable support of @we_wilder , we crossed forests and open meadows in silence, following subtle signs and movements until, finally, he appeared before us.
Majestic, alert, powerful.
For a brief moment our eyes met, and everything around us seemed to pause — the breath, the wind, even time itself.
To encounter the bison in its wild habitat is a rare privilege, a lesson in humility before the strength and grace of nature.
Finding him was a great source of pride, but also just the beginning. Soon we’ll return once more on his trail to capture the magic of this gentle giant.
